The converter has a loaded charge store. It is fitted with a parallel voltage divider which is connected to a reference potential. It is also connected through a controllable charging switch to frame or earth. The charging switch is connected to a potential controlled flip-flop. This flip-flop is in turn connected to the voltage divider tapping. The switch is closed or opened when a specified store charge state (load operation voltage is not reached or exceeded.
