In a ventilation device for rooms, the air openings are to be optionally opened and closed by means of an electric drive (1). In this connection, the drive can on the one hand be switched on via a bistable flip flop (26) assigned to a supply main branch (10', 11'), but can on the other hand be switched off automatically (8, 9) on reaching the opening or closing position respectively by a disconnector (10 or 11) situated in the respective supply main branch (10', 11'). At the same time it is envisaged that the flip flop (26) operates the main switch (27, 28) and is arranged in or on the ventilation device. An infrared or ultrasound remote control (23), consisting of a transmitter (24) and a receiver (25), serves to operate the flip flop (26), its receiver (25) being situated in the vicinity, but advantageously likewise in or on the ventilation device. By means of this design, a ventilation device can be installed without problems; it can, however, be individually operated from any place in the room to be ventilated. At the same time, it is particularly advantageous that, as transmitter (24) for the infrared or ultrasound remote control, a device can be used directly as is known for functional control of television, radio or phono apparatus. A definable transmission channel of the same can at the same time be tuned into for operation of the ventilation device. <IMAGE> |
