<p>The elec. fitting, e.g. a socket, switch, signal generator etc., has retaining springs and a lip for holding it into a hole in the wall of e.g. a cooker. The springs are formed from hard spring material and may be used with thick walls. Each retaining spring (1) consists of a triangular plate projecting radially from the cylindrical body of the fitting and inclined at specified angles. The fitting is pushed through the hole in the wall and the springs move out to lock behind the edge of the hole.</p> |
