The chamber section (10) has gas conducting channels (2, 3) in its hollow cover part and is used for the thermic and noise damping feed of gas to motor drive units. Its open ends are suspended in a closure lid (40, 50). The motor drive unit is completely or partially accommodated in the inner chamber (1), and is scavenged by the gas throughput via the closure lid in a thermic and noise damping manner. Where an i/c piston engine constitutes the motor unit, the cylinder and cylinder head are covered in, and a casing is assembled in a sealed manner to the sealing surface between cylinder and crankcase.
