<p>The silage cutter of the main patent has a cutting roller (10) which is raised and lowered against the silage, and the cut material passes through an opening in a vertical wall (12) to pass into a chamber the other side and fall into a conveyor (50) for discharge at a higher level. The structure which contains the chamber is made by a rectangular grid of structures members (21-28, 31-38, 41-44) onto which are secured by bolts or screws (40) corresponding corrosion resistant plates (11 to 19). The whole forms a prefabrication system with plates enclosing the shaft which guides the cut material onto the conveyor, including one plate (19) forming a sloping cover over the top. The plates may be plastic faced wood chip panels or similar.</p> |
