<p>The electronic bite indicator is installed on a fishing rod. A sensor coil (1) detects acceleration of the rod tip. A spring-mounted (2) permanent magnet (3) is accommodated inside the coil. The coil can comprise two or more individual ones pointing so as to detect movement in different directions, and integral with or cast in the rod tip. Where the rod is telescopic, the connections between the individual sections can be by two-pole plugs preventing rotation.</p> |
