The drain water vessel with vapouriser is for a heat pump recovering heat, having a liquidiser (3), particularly for after-liquid tion. The liquidiser outlet is connected by a pipe (4) to the inlet of the vapouriser (2), and there is a throttle (5) in the pipe. The vapouriser can be at the top of the vessel (1) and the liquidiser at the bottom. The vapouriser can be on the inside and the liquidiser on the outside, and can form part of the vessel wall. The vessel can have a funnel-shaped outlet (13), shut by a pipe (14) also acting as an overflow.
