PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency of a programmable controller by attaining the connection of monitor devices such as a loader, even to the side of a remote input/output part and therefore securing the processing with the monitor of input and output signals, the forcible ON/OFF actions, the read-out of fault information, etc. CONSTITUTION:A monitor device 17 contains an operation part 17A which accepts operations done by an operator and a display part 17B where the operator recognizes visually the displayed input/output information. The presence or absence of a monitor request is decided for the input and output signals. When the presence of the monitor request is decided, the data on the input/output card corresponding to the address designated by the operator is read out of an input/ output buffer and displayed. Based on this displayed data, the operator can deliver a request through the part 17A to turn on and off forcibly the signal related to the designated input/output card. In case the signal is forcibly turned on, the data in the input/output buffer is set or reset. |
