This invention concerns anthelmintic compositions which contain as active component anilinomethylenemalononitrile derivatives corresponding to the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 represents hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, the propargyl group or the benzyl radical, R2 represents hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, halogen, the trifluoromethyl group, the nitro group or the cyano group, R3 represents hydrogen, halogen, the trifluoromethyl group or the nitro group, and R4 represents hydrogen or halogen, WITH THE PROVISO THAT R1 may only be the propargyl group or the benzyl radical if at least one of the symbols R2 or R3 represents the trifluoromethyl group, and the use of the compositions for combating helminths in domestic animals and productive livestock. |
