Mono ski consists of a flat body with a drawn up scoop type front. The running surface or the lower side of the flat body is curved downwards transverse to the running direction. To steer the mono ski in the direction of movement there are at least two runners on the lower side. These are brought into contact with the surface by a change in the weight distribution of the skier. The runners are located symmetrical to the ski's longitudinal axis and are curved relative to the ski's centre axis.
