<p>The radial roller bearing comprises a crown of rollers which roll between concentric tracks, and adjacent the crown (1) is a flexible plastics ring (9) which works in conjunction with the two running tracks (3, 7) to produce a vibration damping effect. The flexible ring (9) has an off-centre effect on the tracks (7), and hold them on the rollers at one peripheral point. The ring is an open wire ring located in the outer track (3), and its ends are so formed inwardly that they locate against the inner track in a spring fashion at an angle of about 120 degrees.</p> |
