<p>The sliding-door device provided with a rocker arm (8) contains a door-supporting element (34), on which a flat tubular guide (13) carrying the door and having a guide slot (17) is arranged slidably. The flat tubular guide is drive-connected to the end of the piston (31) of a cylinder/piston actuating device (28, 31), whilst the cylinder head is mounted pivotably in a control arm (26). The reaction force or reaction movement occurring on the control arm (26) when the actuating device (28, 31) is subjected to pressure is transmitted via a connecting member (24) to a locking device (20-22) blocking or releasing the rocker arm (8). At the same time, the deflection of a cam-follower member (21) running in a guide slot (22) causes a pivoting movement of a member (20) for connection to the rocker arm (8).
