PURPOSE:To improve an ignition performance by a method wherein an amount of fuel required for ignition is supplied by using a fuel control device driving means in case of ignition, and a ratio between fuel and air is varied by applying a signal from the fuel control device driving means and another signal from a combustion sensing device through a combustion air blower driving means. CONSTITUTION:Water is supplied from a water inlet port 1, passes through a water amount sensing device 2 and a specified amount of water supplying device 3, heat is absorbed by a heat exchanger 4 and then the water is supplied from a hot water feeding-out port 5. Gas is supplied from a gas inlet port 6, passes through a gas solenoid valve 7 and a gas proportional valve 8 of a fuel supplying amount control device and then the fuel is ignited at a burner 9. Air required for combustion is supplied by a fan 10 acting as the combustion air blower and the discharged gas is discharged from a discharging port 11. The burner 9 is provided with an ignition plug 12 and a flame rod 13 acting as a combustion sensing means. A control device 15 for controlling each of these devices is comprised of a gas proportional valve driving means 16, a fan motor driving means 17 and another control means 18. With this arrangement, a ratio between air and gas in case of ignition is varied and an ignition can easily be carried out. |
