PURPOSE:After a parison is blow molded in a mold having a cavity for molding bottles, parts of the bottle stretched insufficiently are heated and stretched, thereby producing bottles free from whitening and deformation when high-temperature substance is filled therein. CONSTITUTION:Parison P heated to a temperature suitable for stretching is fitted to nozzle 4 on the opening and put in mold consisting of split mold 1, bottle mold 2 and head mold 3. the lengthwise stretching is effected by inserting stretching rod 5 into parison P and at the same time a pressurized fluid is blown from inlet 6 to form bottle B. Bottle B is taken out of mold, the bottom is reheated to the stretching temperature and set on bottom mold 22 having half sphere depression and pressurized fluid is blown from inlet 62 of nozzle 42 to press the bottom of bottle to the bottom of mold 22. Then the half-sphere shaped bottom is inversed using bottom mold 23 and fixed by heating. |
