摘要 PURPOSE:To find out an optimum battery exchanging time by alarming that the life of a battery comes to an end, in case that the capacity of the battery comes to a value equal to or less than a threshold value, at the same time as the degree of the reduction of the capacity of the battery is automatically checked at every fixed time. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit 11, a power switch 3 is periodically turned OFF, and battery voltage is read. A current from a battery 8 to a load 5 is detected by a current detecting circuit 12, and by time-integrating the current in a capacity arithmetic circuit 13, discharging ampere-hours are found. When the battery voltage is lowered by a specified range, the power switch 3 is closed, and this artificial service interruption is completed. The time integrating arithmetic result of discharged current is transmitted to a life span discriminating circuit 14, and when the arithmetic result is of a value equal to or less than a specified value, then by an alarm 15, it is alarmed that the life of the battery 8 comes to a threshold.
