PURPOSE:To use a mass storage unit to economize the system and reduce the function of subscriber message rate storage units installed distributively, by centralizing subscriber message rate storage units distributed in stations into a message rate information storage toll office. CONSTITUTION:In the storage system for subscriber message rate information in automatic telephone exchanges A, B...n, message rate information storage toll office RIC connected to exchanges A, B...C is provided. These exchanges A, B...n are provided with message rate information temporary storage unit TM which stores temporarily the number of meter pulses corresponding to a subscriber, scanner SCN which transfers stored message rate information to RIC before overflow of unit TM, controller S-CONT in the central telephone exchange and data transfer unit S-DTE. In the RIC side, data transfer unit D-DTE in the toll office side, controller C-CONT, message rate information storage unit MEM and reader READ are provided. |
