PURPOSE:To increase expansibility in a system with the number of degrees of freedom of area allocation made large by freely allocating according to groups usable hardware fixed-region addresses of an input-output controller. CONSTITUTION:For exmaple, when one input-output controller 4 control 128 I/0s 51, 52, , they are divided into eight groups (groups A to H) with sixteen I/Os taken as one group. Then, since each group has the start address and end address fixed, they are set into unit register UR inside of controller 4 at the time of the initial setting of the system and access to the table is attained at need, thereby finding an address inside of the actual hardware fixed region. |
