The ink is stored in a container (4) which has a sloping base (14) and is fitted with a heating bath (11) to maintain the ink (8) at a constant temperature and viscosity. The ink passes onto the transfer roller (6) which may also be liquid filled. The ink is transferred onto the roller (2) leaving a thickness (epsilon). The pressure between the rollers may be regulated by means of the setting screw (9) held in a housing (10).
