<p>The binoculars comprise a body in two parts (1, 2) each carrying pivoted arms (3, 4). Each arm carries the frame of a lens (5, 6) forming objective lenses and eyepieces respectively. The telescopic consists of two telescopic tubes, one of which includes an eyepiece comprising several lenses. The pivoted arms of the binoculars are so arranged that one of the binocular objective lenses may be attached to the telescope to serve as its objective. The body of the binoculars then clips, folded up, to the side of the telescope.</p> |
