Plastics transmission belt is injection- or press-moulded from a nylon or polypropylene. Alternatively, it may be mfd. from springy steel. It features evenly spaced deformation such as corrugations, with which a drive element may be brought into engagement or upon which such an element may bear. The ends of the belt are fitted with deformable plastics sleeves for coupling together to form the claimed article. Alternatively, the ends may be simply welded together. Used e.g., for running toy or model railways.
