<p>The production of zinc and/or cerium salts of known sulfonylurea oral hypoglycemic agents is accomplished by reaction of water soluble zinc salts with alkali metal salts of the sulfonylurea derivatives. The resulting zinc and/or cerium salts are useful in reducing elevated sugar levels in warm-blooded animals and for treatment of diabetes. </p> |
