<p>The locking pin for an impact drill or similar tool has a curved slot (2) across its top, and at right angles to it is a groove consisting of two recesses (3, 4) at an angle to each other, and both sloping at the same angle. The two sides (3, 6 or 4, 7) of each recess form an angle of 90 deg. between them. The far end of the pin has a blind hole in the centre of its face, ending near the edge of the curved slot (2), while the two recesses are at the other end.</p> |
