<p>PURPOSE:To provide a flat VTR of a low height by winding the tape to a rotary head adjacently installed to a cassette in the direction at a right angle to the cassette tape leading-out direction. CONSTITUTION:The VTR tape 15 in a cassette 10 is drawn out by a roller 55 which is linearly moved by a linear loading mechanism and is drawn out up to the specified position in the direction perpendicular to the leading-out direction by the linear movement in the direction perpedicular to the leading-out direction of the roller 55. Next, when a motor 112 starts driving, a rotation driving mechanism 25 turns to cause the tape 15 to be wound to a rotary drum 11 by way of the loading roller 97 of a loading ring 96 provided with a pinch roller 98, guide roller 99, etc. At the same time, pressure contacting of the roller 98 to a capstan 28, etc. are accomplished. These cause the rotary drum and cassette to be adjacently disposed in the direction perpendicular to the tape leading out direction, thus enabling the flat VTR of a low height to be provided.</p> |
