Wide span bridge arch scaffolding erection - involves linking truss parts into lattices from base upwards and consolidating hinges
摘要

The cantilevered centering scaffolding frame is for arched bridges covering wide spans. Each truss first has the bottom abutment-supported parts hoisted by crane and hinged to abutments (11), and firmly suspended. The adjacent bottom parts are all linked to form a three-dimensional lattice unit (10a). Adjoining parts are similarly introduced and suspended and hinged until the top is reached. Resultant hinged connections between individual truss parts are then made rigid with further fish-plates and struts.
