PURPOSE:To easily execute the work of fixing a ventilating duct within a short period of time and without causing any losses by constituting the ventilating duct consisting of an elbow tube made of a cylinder bent in an L-shaped state and having sufficient overlapping parts inside both openings thereof, and straight pipes fitted slidably into the opening of the elbow tube. CONSTITUTION:Piping between the range hood of a ventilating duct and a duct hole 5 provided through a wall face 4 is carried out in such a manner that, after one end of a horizontal side straight pipe 3a has been first inserted into the duct hole 5, the straight pipe 3a is slided into an elbow tube 1 so that the center of the vertical side opening 2b of the elbow tube 1 into which the other end of the straight pipe 3a is inserted is positioned in the center of an adaptor 8 communicating to the outlet port 10 of a blower 9, which is provided on the ceiling plate 7 of a range hood main body 6. Then, a vertical side straight pipe 3b inserted into the opening 2b of the elbow tube 1 is slided into the opening 2b so as to connect to the adaptor 8, and the fixing work is completed. According to this method, the piping of the ventilating duct becomes possible without conducting a conventional work in which the length of pipes in the horizontal and vertical directions is measured to cut the straight pipes, thereby performing adequate piping work of the ventilating duct. |
