<p>PURPOSE:To recover a waste polyurethane composition having high physical properties, by reacting a polyisocyanate with a polyhydroxyl compound obtained by the thermal decomposition of polyurethane resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyhydroxyl compound obtained by the thermal decomposition of a polyurethane resin in a urea/alkylene oxide adduct is used as at least a part of the raw materials in the preparation of polyurethane composition from a polyhydroxyl compound and a polyisocyanate. The polyurethane resin is prepared by reacting a polyether polyol with a polyisocyanate. Alkylene oxide may be added to the thermal decomposition product. The polyurethane resin for the thermal decomposition may be rigid foam, semi-rigid foam, flexible foam, or solid resin.</p> |
