The agent for inorganic surfaces such as masonry, sandstone, limestone, plaster, concrete and other cement preparations, is based on solns. of alkyl trialkoxy silanes and/or its oligomers, in alcohols and/or hydrocarbons contg. water-insoluble organic dyestuffs. The solvent is pref. present in an amt. of 15-95%, pref. 50-85%, calculated on the impregnating agent, and is a solvent both for the alkoxysilane and the dyestuff. The dyestuff is uniformly incorporated deep into the inorganic surface and is hot washed out. The surface is simultaneously sealed against water. |
