Mechanism enables fast manual adjustment of the focussing ring on a camera taking lens. The arrangement has a clasp and cam on the lens barrel and a focussing ring which can be felt and adjusted by hand without looking at the focussing scale. The arrangement permits two positions to be selected and can also be arranged for use with thickly gloved hands.
