Explosively operated rivet driver - has magazine in form of strip moved by action of firing trigger

The rivet driving gun is actuated by explosive cartridges. The mouth of the barrel is pressed against the workpiece causing the barrel to slide towards the handle. This motion allows an internal lever to move under the action of the trigger and detonate a cartridge. The magazine for the cartridges consists of a slotted strip (11) which is normally locked by a rocking lever (19). The pulling of the trigger lifts the lever out of a slot in the magazine, allowing it to be ushed by spring so that the next cartridge is brought to the firing position.
