PURPOSE:To boviate the fact that the voltage to be impressed upon an IC is decreased at a low temperature to stop oscillations by detecting the low temperature with the use of a temperature detecting circuit so that a boosting circuit is operated to impress a high voltage upon the IC. CONSTITUTION:With a view to operating an oscillating circuit with a low voltage thereby to decrease the power consumption,a resistor R0 is connected in series with a power source. When the ambient temperature is lowered so that the reduction to a lower temperature than a preset level is detected by a temperature sensor RT until the output of a temperature detecting circuit 1 takes an H level, a transmission gage TG1 is rendered conductive, whereas another gate TG2 is rendered inconductive, so that the output voltage of a booster circuit 2 is impressed upon the both terminals of the resistor R0 and the oscillating circuit. As a result, the internal resistance of a battery is increased with the reduction in the temperature so that a high voltage is applied to the oscillating circuit, even if the voltage is substantially decreased, thereby to stabilize the oscillations. |
