PURPOSE:To make it possible to accomplish the copying operation, even in case an original feeder is troubled, by manually releasing the original feeder from its copy prohibited condition in that case. CONSTITUTION:The detected signals of switches MS1 and MS2, which are arranged in the conveyance passage and outlet of an automatic original feeder 3, render an AND circuit U1 conductive and reset a hold circuit H1 through an OR circuit U2. As a result, if jamming takes place in the vicinity of the switches MS1 and MS2, the output of a timer T, which has a longer time than that for passing an original through the switches MS1 and MS2, passes through the gate U1 to hold a circuit H1 and a hold circuit H2 under their set conditions so that the stop and display of the feeder 3 and the prohibition and display of a copying apparatus are effected in response to the set outputs of the circuits H1 and H2. If, under this condition, a manual releasing switch RS is operated, the circuit H2 is reset to release the copy prohibition. Thus, it is possible to accomplish the copying operation even in case the original feeder is troubled. |
