PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and effect compactness by using the coil of an electromagnetic buzzer or speaker as the antenna of a receiving circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic watch having alarm and receiving functions, when a preset time is reached, a watch circuit 1 openes a gate circuit 3, and an alarm circuit 2 is operated to drive an electromagnetic buzzer 4. Since, at this time, the power source of a receiving circuit 7 has its gate circuit 6 closed, even if the buzzer 4 is driven, no influence is exerted upon the receiving circuit 7 using the coil 5 of the buzzer 4 as an antenna. When the alarm circuit 2 is inoperative, the gate circuit 3 is closed, but the gate circuit 6 is opened to supply the receiving circuit 7 with the power so that the receiving circuit using the coil 5 as the antenna is brought into its stand-by condition. |
