PURPOSE:To lighten the load upon a battery and to prevent the display from becoming thinner and the watch from being stopped by varying the waveforms of alarm drive signals in a manner to reduce the current consumption in case the battery voltage is lowered. CONSTITUTION:When a battery voltage is sufficient and the output of a battery voltage detecting circuit 11 is at an ''L'' level, the output of a gate 10 also takes the ''L'' level, and the output of the gate 11 becomes the ANd signals of Q3 and Q12. When coincidence circuits 6 and 7 take an ''H'' level as well as the output of the gate G1, the AND signals of Q3 and Q12 are generated at the gate G3 to drive a speaker SP. When the coincidence circuits 6 and 7 take the ''H'' level for the output of the detecting circuit 11 at the ''H'' level upon reduction in the battery voltage, the AND signals of Q2, Q3 and Q12 are generated at the gate G3 to drive the speaker SP. Here, the AND signals of Q2, Q3 and Q12 are the signals having the half duty of the AND signals of Q3 and Q12. |
