<p>PURPOSE:To exfoliate superfluous microbes by bringing particles stuck with microbes and the inside surfaces of numerous tubes stuck with microbes into contact with each other and raise the contact percentage by causing turbulent flow. CONSTITUTION:Aerobic microbes are stuck to the inside surfaces of the numerous tubes 7 and the surfaces of carrier particles C1, C2. Foul water is supplied from a pipe 8 to the microbes. The foul water is moved down in a cylinder 2 by an impeller 5. Oxygen is supplied to the foul water while bubbles B1, B2 are produced. Then, the foul water rises in the tubes 7. The carrier C1 stuck with the microbes exfoliates and removes superfluous microbes produced on the inside surfaces of the tubes 7 while the carrier C1 flows through the tubes. Too many microbes adhere to the carrier C1 according as the foul water is cleaned. The carrier C2 floats up due to the gas which is a decomposition product. The carrier C2 flows down in the cylinder 2 together with the foul water. Since the carrier C2 is removed of superfluous microbes by the impeller, the carrier C2 is changed into the carrier C1, which flows through the tubes 7 again.</p> |
