<p>Compounds having the formula in which R is alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The compounds are useful in inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi. Also, a method of inhibiting the growth of sulfate reducing bacteria by contacting said bacteria with an effective amount of the compound 1,3-dichloroacetoneoxime acetate or 1,3-dichloroacetoneoxime propionate.</p> |
