<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device for winding a cord with an easy maintenance and assembling work to reduce the number of screws to thus reduce the number of working steps by securing contactors connected to the cord to a reel body and slip rings slidably making contact with the contactors to supporting base, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In a device for winding a cord to be used for a vacuum cleaner or the like, contactors 46 connected to a power cord 55 are secured to a reel 42, and slip rings 53, 54 slidably making contact with the contactors 46 are secured to a supporting base 51 fixed to a reel shaft 47. Thus, the reel or rotary side is removed from the base 51 by loosening the screws for maintenance. Then, the cord 55 and contactors 46 easily malfunctioned can be simultaneously removed externally for very simple maintenance. Since the contacts 46 are mounted to the recess 42a of the reel 42, no external pressure is applied to the contactors at assembling time to cause no abnormal deformation thereat.</p> |
