<p>PURPOSE:To make a combined structure of harmful gas remover and wet type electric dust collector both serving as wet type absorbing tower for enabling the washing liquid flowing down on a dust collecting plate to be utilized as absorbing liquid for said harmful gas remover. CONSTITUTION:When introduced in a lower inflow chamber 3, waste gas comes in sufficient contact with the absorbing liquid flowing down while wetting the exposed surface of an absorbing packing 6 so that the largest portion of the harmful gas contained therein is removed through absorption. Unremoved harmful gas is raised and removed in a dust collecting chamber 2, captured by the electrode water in said dust collecting chamber 2, transferred to a dust collecting plate 8, and carried down by the washing water flowing down on said dust collecting plate 8 like a curtain. used washing water flows down onto said absorbing packing 6, absorbs the harmful gas contained in succeeding waste gas as absorbing liquid, and is discharged outside through a discharge port 20.</p> |
