PURPOSE:To provide the title composition having moderate vigidity, improved tensile strength and flexural resistance even in a non-crosslinked state, also exhibiting bigher strength, marked rubber elasticity, etc. after crosslinking comprising a thermoplastic elastomer and 1,2-polybutadiene. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (1) 30-95 wt. % of a thermoplastic elastomer such as a block copolymer from an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diolefin. and (2) 70-5 wt % of a syndiotactic 1, 2- polybutadiene of a degree of crystallinity of 5-50%, an intrinsic viscosity (at 30 deg.C in toluene) of at least 0.7, and a 1,2-vinyl bond % of at least 70% (pref >= 85%). For practical use of the composition as a cured product, a moderate cure time is required, also for high heat resistance, the 1,2-polybutadiene content of the objective composition of at least 30 wt. % is recommendable.
