MULTISTAGE INCINERATOR FOR SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To make it needless to provide complicated facilities outside the multistage incinerator and give special consideration to the sealing property of a reducing furnace. CONSTITUTION:A reducing stage C is provided under a burning stage B. The outlet port 9 of a hopper 7 is connected to the reducing stage C. A furnace bed 4 between the burning stage B and the reducing stage C is provided with a drop port 5c of area equal to 1 to 5 % of that of the furnace bed. Inwardly conveying stirring teeth 3a are provided in the reducing stage C. A part 10 connecting the reducing stage C to the outlet port 9 of the hopper 7 is provided outside the reducing stage C. Sludge is thrown into the multistage incinerator through the thrown-in port 1 of the top 11 and is sequentially dropped down.
