PURPOSE:To provide a metal surface-degreasing detergent of extremely low foaming potertial and strong detergency, showing little reduction in the detergency by an anti- foaming agent, etc., comprising a uonionic surfactant of a specific polynuclear phenolalkylate. CONSTITUTION:The objective detergent comprising a nonionic surfactant of a polynuclear phenolalkylate of formula CX is H or hydroxyl; R1 and R2 are each H or methyl; AO is alkylene ozide; m is 3-20). Said alkylene oxide group is preferably pure 100% ethylene oxide group or of a 50% or higher content of ethlene oxide The detergent's HLB value is preferably controlled in the rauge 8-15. Even in the preseuce of any auti-foaming agent or oils and fats, causing little detergency drop. |
