Green harvested seasonings, herbs and spices are digested or disintegrated in an edible oil, whereby the seasonings, herbs and spices are coated with the oil which prevents the escape of volatile essential oils from the seasonings, herbs or spices. As a result, the fresh green taste of the green harvested seasonings, herbs and spices is maintained, and the seasonings can be stored for long periods without adding any synthetic preservative. |
