PURPOSE:To obtain the highest energy recovery efficiency in safe by controlling a generator to the maximum revolutional frequency durable in strength after a load is cut off. CONSTITUTION:After the load applied on a generator 9 is cut off, the setting velocity of a gas turbine 10 and the generator 9 is kept at the high limit as far as the turbine 10 or the generator 9 may be durable in strength and is then controlled at a normal velocity after the head pressure of the furnace 1 is set. Pressure increase in the system caused when a load is cut off may be restricted greatly and serious hazard injuring the equipment can be prevented that the furnace head gas turbine generating equipment can be operated safely. And much more gas is allowed to run into the turbine, which improves the energy recovery efficiency.
