PURPOSE:To enable the diaphragm of high specific modulus, lightness in weight and superior rigidity to be obtained by fixing siliceous granaular foams to pulp fibers and sheeting the fibers. CONSTITUTION:In a paper machine, pulpe fibers 2 are beaten and are then dispersed in water, following to which siliceous granular foams 3 are chanrged in a range of within 20wt% based on the fibers 2 into water. Since the foams 3 have uniform and fine closed and open cells of about 10 to 100mu in diameter partitioned by thin partition walls of about several mu in thickness, the water gradually infilters their inside and finally the foams sink in the water. The fibers 2 and formas 3 are stirred in a precipitated state in this way and rubber base latex is dosed thereto, then the foams 3 are fixed to the fibers 2 and this is sheeted on paper screen. The sheet made in this way is thermo- pressure formed for severl minutes at temperatures of 180 to 200 deg.C, then the water having infiltered in the foams 3 evaporates and the diaphragm 1 for speaker is thus obtained. |
