PURPOSE:To secure the monitor for the operation of the echo suppressor by deciding the state of the channel based on the signal information of each channel of the transmission line and then inserting the monitor signal featuring the specified pattern into the time slot of the channel at the non-busy time. CONSTITUTION:Monitor circuit 300 along with non-call detector circuit 200 which supplies information signals SIG1 - SIGn of n-channels are installed in multiplied digital echo suppressor 100 which is used to the transmission line formed by digitizing the transmission line with the time-division multiplication. Then priority encoder 201, coincidence circuit 203 and 204 plus gate circuits 205 and 207 are provided to circuit 200; and transmission and reception circuits 301 and 302, FF303 and 304 plus gate circuit 305 are provided to circuit 300 respectively. Furthermore, the selector is added to suppressor 100 to switch SIN comprising gates 402 - 404 and the S-side monitor signal, along with the selector to switch RIN consisting of gates 407 - 409 and the R-side monitor signal. Then the monitor signal featuring a specified pattern is inserted into the channel under the busy state. |
