<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the error in end detection of recording media by stopping information writing when two or more of a plurality of end detecting marks provided in series to the end of the recording media are detected. CONSTITUTION:If the Q output of an FF 1 is 1 during data writing of 1 block, a flag A is set and further data write controlling of one block is performed. When the whole data of 1 block are written, whether the data have been written or not gives Yes which becomes judgement of whether the flag A is 1 or not. If ''1'', a data end mark is taken out from a control memory CROM and is put into D via mark register B. Next, the flag A is reset and the contents of the register D are written into the medium, then the content of the register C is minus 1. Next, whether the data have been written or not is discriminated and if not ''0'', the Q output of FF 2 is discriminated and if Yes, the tape driving signal and write signal are not sent from the CROM and data writing stops. Thereby, the error in the end detection of the medium may be prevented.</p> |
