<p>The safety helmet for drivers of two-wheeled vehicles, and for sportsmen engaged in dangerous sports, is instantaneously removed in cases of accident, without damaging the wearer's head and neck further. It consists of two parts, the adjacent edges of the two parts brims serrated so that the teeth interfit. The teeth are hollow and define a passage through which runs a connecting cable which is locked at the front by means of a screw. The cable is made of steel wire, in a plastics sheath.</p> |
