Safety belt fitting for bench seat - incorporates recessed clasps covered by insert guides made of elastic material

The bench seat squab is fitted with inserts (20) which are made of elastic material. They are inserted into the cover, with the bottoms of the inserts fitted with clasps (18) for the tags of the seat belts. The clasps are anchored to the vehicle by cables (27) through the seat suspension. The fitting is unobtrusive and does not impede the use of the bench seat. If more occupants are carried then one can sit on the recessed clasps in comfort.
