PURPOSE:To compensate forming timing of ink particles rapidly in correspondence to changes in ink temperature by providing a heat sensing means and amplitude regulating circuit. CONSTITUTION:An amplitude regulating circuit 10 consisting of resistances R11, R12, R21, R22 and semiconductor switching elements S1, S2, a temperature range detecting circuit 11 consisting of comparators CM1, CM2, inverters IN1, IN2 and AND gates AND 1, AND 2 and a thermistor 9 of negative characteristics are provided. Then, at the time when the pressurized ink supplied to a nozzle head 1 having an ultrasonic vibrator is injected to become ink particles while being applied with ultrasonic vibrations and the ink particles are deflected by a deflecting electrode 3 and are printed on recording paper 4 after having been charged by a charging electrode 2, the ink temperature is detected by the thermistor 9 of negative characteristics and according to the temperature thereof, the amplitude control circuit 10 is controlled, by which the excitation voltage applied from a power amplifier 7 to the nozzle head 1 is regulated and the timing for forming the ink particles is compensated with good responsiveness. |
