The motor vehicle door handle has a cylinder lock with an electrical heater. The letter is fitted without modification of door handle parts so that the deicing heater can be fitted to locks of different vehicle makes. The heating arrangement is held on a clip (60) placed around the cylinder lock. The heating arrangement is fitted between the pivot axis (48) of the double arm lever (42) and the holding housing (22) of the cylinder lock. The clip is made of zinc-bronze sheet metal with good thermal conductivity.
