<p>The vehicle IC engine exhaust pipe connector is a hollow cylindrical sleeve with a bore equal tothe outside dia. of the pipes to be connected and made up of two equal half-shells. At their ends, the shells have longitudinal slots so that, by means of pipe clips, a tight joint between the sleeve and pipe ends can be achieved. A layer of asbestos or similar material can be inserted. The shell axis can be either straight or curved. The half-shells can also be used, singly or together, to cover the corrosion holes in the pipes.</p> |
